Mead Home-Brewing Class
- Mead, the Beverage Know as “Nectar of the Gods”.
- Considered the oldest brewed beverage, Mead has been enjoyed down through the ages.
- Become part of the ever growing mead revival!
- Learn how to brew traditional Meads (honeywine), Methaglins (mead with spices), and Melomels (mead with friut).
- Learn the art of Mead home-brewing to create your own inspiring recipes, enjoyable on any occasion!
In class we will create our own batch of mead, learning each step of the process from start, to bottle, to palate in a hands-on format. We will taste a flight of meads of various ages and sources to understand aging and flavor balancing. Students will be notified when the batch we start in class is finished so that we can come together again for an evening of tasting. The batch will then be divided amongst the class to be enjoyed at leisure!

Dreams: Herbs, Vitamins and Gems
All you have ever wanted to know about possible outside sources that influence our dreams. We'll take a look at herbs, vitamins/minerals, stones/gems, and other modern and historical sources of dream enhancement. We will also make our own individual dream pillows, based on each person's favorite herbs and/or goals to become more aware of their nighttime visions.
$45 for a 2 hour class, sliding scale for students.
